Ingenia is working on two Immigrant Employment Council of BC funded proejcts. Working wiith the Kitimat Chamber of Commerce, we are designing and delivering workshops in northern BC communities to inform employers about using a competency-based approach for hiring immigrants. And with the Northern Lights College, we will be creating occupational performance standards and competency assessments for two high-demand, non-trades occupations in Northeast BC.
Ramona Materi continually keeps on top of the latest trends in consulting. In May, she attended a workshop in Seattle by the Million Dollar Consultant, Alan Weiss.
Ingenia has created more Targeted Community Snapshots to help attract immigrants to communities outside of metro Vancouver for the Ministry of Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training. The first round of Snapshots are now available on the WelcomeBC website.
